Blessings!

Devan and I are so richly blessed by our two children that God gave us! We thank Him each day for the joy they bring to our lives! We pray that they will grow up to be faithful Christians who will love and serve their Lord with all their heart, soul and mind. We are thankful for all of the Christian friends and family that we are blessed to have... (read on below)

So in saying all that, we are also praying the same for our new little one on the way!
YES! WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
It's taking a while for me to post this...the baby is due January 12. We are so happy and feel truly blessed by this addition to our family! Please pray for our little one! We love you all!

My First Haircut!

"My mommy and daddy finally decided it was time for my first haircut. Why they waited this long is beyond me." -Lucy
We have actually been meaning do get her a haircut for a month or so now. The back was all different lengths and her fly a ways in the front always got in her face. Her hair was so long, if you didn't pull it back, she couldn't see because her hair in the front went to her chin. So, we went to Tiffini's this evening and she gave her the sweetest bangs and trimmed up the back. I love it more and more each time I look at her. She looks like such a big girl...which will hopefully spur her on to continue to walk, which she is actually doing now when she's not too lazy. :)

Lucy before (I wish her hair was more in her face like it usually is so you
could get the real "before") She did so good through the whole thing:)Her new bangs

Where are you?

I know it's been about 2 months since my last post. That's so bad. Well, since it has been a while, there's lots of reading and picture viewing to do. If I would just keep up with it, I wouldn't have to marathon post. I should just send my pics to Bekki and let her do my blog for me :)

4th of July and the Rangers!

We went to Buda to watch the fireworks with Annie and Grandad (Mo and Lindsay's grandparents.) We only had to drive a couple of blocks to see the fireworks. Brinton stayed in the truck at a safe distance and we took lucy a little closer. I forgot to take my camera when we went up, so this is the only pic I have. Lucy loved them ( at least she seemed to do a lot of watching, pointing, and clapping :)We went to my sister' s in Ft. Worth this past Tuesday and went to the Ranger game. It rained as we were getting there. We got a little wet but dried before the game started. We're just glad it stopped. The Rangers won and we had cotton candy, so I was happy. Lucy enjoyed watching the planes fly overhead more than anything and B liked dancing to the music.

Shampoo, Shampoo!

My sister took charge and planned a mini-vacation to Sea World and the Alamo. We had been telling Brinton about Shamu and so he went around telling people he was going to get to go see Shampoo. He eventually started calling the poor whale by his correct name, but that wasn't near as funny. We had a great day at Sea World. We got there about 11 and ate lunch outside. The kids did great. Lucy slept in her stroller some. Brinton didn't nap and so he was out when it came time for the dolphin show which is the last thing we did. They were wiped out (so was I) when we got back to the hotel. But everyone slept good. Then we went to the Alamo the next day, and walked on the River Walk. My camera didn't take great shots indoors. Some are sort of blurry.

Camp Agape

I know it's been a month ago, but we really enjoyed camp. This was our first time to really participate in this week long of excitement. Lucy was with Bandi in the nursery, so I really didn't worry too much about her. She seemed to do well and didn't cry too much when I dropped her off each morning, so that was nice. Brinton loved it! He talked about going back each night and would tell Devan all about his day when he got home. I worked with Summer in the 4 & 5 yr. old class. We had a really easy group! We all had sooo much fun and can't wait til next year.

I had made B stand in the mud, and lets just say he didn't
like it. Making bracelets
Sliding down with Mo - what a lifesaver she was. She took
him over and over.

Swimming Fun!

We went to the Vandygriff's for a graduation party for Lindsay. The kids had a great time - as they always do when they're with them. We had a water balloon fight and when it was over, someone pushed Melanie, Melissa's sister, into the pool. What a husband I have... and so that started a few more others getting shoved in as well. We love them all so much and are gonna miss Lindsay when she goes to college.
