RETREAT!
We had a great time at our family retreat with our church. We got way more sleep this year! (Even with the Drennons as our suite-mates...love you guys) We took Lucy last year when she was just several weeks old and she cried a lot...But not this year, baby. Brinton enjoyed playing in the water and riding on the "boat", the thing that floated in the water (see pic). Lucy was pretty content and happy most of the time. Since she still isn't walking, it was hard to put her down without her getting filthy. I "learned" how to play 88, which is a form of 42 (dominoes). Although my team won, I can say it wasn't because I knew what I was doing. But I had very patient teachers. Maybe if I practice I would be up for it again. Our speaker was very good, too. His first session had me in tears. It was so good to be with our friends! (wish all of you could've been there...you pregnant ones and those who had sick kids...)

BLUEBONNETS...
My kids weren't that excited about taking a good picture for me. Lucy just wanted to pick them and Brinton would smile but it seemed like only when Lucy was so looking down. And Brinton's smiles are often cheesey...but sweet. Anyway, I guess that's the fun of kids, capturing them as they are and not just in poses. :)
